We are officially 6 months into the COVID-19 pandemic and JaniTek is on the front lines of cleaning throughout the county. Not only are our team members completing the nightly cleaning and disinfecting of our client’s facilities, we have completed well over 200 COVID-19 Facility Decontamination Cleanings. Proper cleaning techniques and safe work practices have never been more important than now. We’d like to share with you the training our cleaning teams go through before they step foot in your building:
4 hours of classroom training (Includes video’s, manuals, and hands-on)

Once they pass the final exam they are introduced to your facility by their experienced supervisor. This is where their O.J.T. begins and their cleaning skills are tested. We work with our technicians to match their skills with your facility type. Some of our team members thrive in distribution/industrial/manufacturing facility types, while others thrive in medical or general office settings. Sometimes it takes a few tries to find the match, and when we do, our clients and team members are happy! As you know happy clients plus happy team members equals success for all!
We continue our cleaners training experience with ongoing supervision and corrective coaching. Every 30 days for the first 3 months of employment, they come back to the classroom to review safety protocols and discuss any other cleaning process questions. Each month we hold tailgate safety meetings and currently we consistently review CDC guidelines for our industry.
